I do a great deal of custom jewelry requests.  A lot of customers buy a stone and would like it set in  a wire wrap design with 14K Gold fill or Sterling silver wire.   I can even hide a flaw in the piece, as in the hercules cameo pendant pictured.  The ruby was purchased by a customer and she never liked it, so I wire wrapped it and she fell in love.  

Wire wrap does so much for some gems.   I have the customer send me a picture of the stone if possible, and a size and a style,  less fancy, more elaborate, etc. from some of my designs, and then I give them a price.   Sometimes I request a small deposit, depending on the price of the quote.  I always send a picture of the finished piece before sending an invoice.   Only Paypal can be accepted for custom work. It is then invoiced through Paypal to the customer.   Upon receipt of the payment, then the pendant is shipped.
