I just love the Larimar gemstones and cabochons. The blues are wonderful, like the ocean and the sky. I purchase them for the Domican Republic. My favorite is the Larmar heart, but hard to find.  I wire wrap the larimar with argentium sterling silver and 14K gold fill wire. The larimar looks good in both, although most designers use silver. I like the difference and it really gets noticed.  Ii have had customers comment that the gold coloo gives it a warm feel.   I recently went to the southern islands and every jewelry store stopped me to admire the Larimar wire wrap pendant because it was done in gold.  I have all shapes and sizes and will be getting in a supply of smaller stones so that I can make pendant & earring sets.
